Updated Friday 3rd July 2020

The Government and Church of England have said that churches can now have Sunday services in their buildings – but we will be continuing with Online services only for the time being.

We will be discussing the situation at our Church Council meeting on 13th July, and will make more plans then. In the meantime, please continue to join in with our online activities.

The Church of England’s advice, which is being updated regularly in response to Government measures, can be found here: read the CofE advice

Here are some of the things we are doing:

  • Live Streaming a 10:30am Sunday Morning Service. Well, we’re going to try to, anyway. This page on the website will be updated so you can watch the livestream: https://stlawrencechurch.co.uk/services-live-stream/
  • A Telephone Contact Network for older members. We have arranged for older members to be contacted regularly (if they wish) by a team of church volunteers. If you are an older person then you should be contacted soon. If you’d like to be contacted (even if you’re not an older person) and no-one has phoned you, please let us know.
  • Using Video-Conferencing for midweek groups. Please contact us if you would like to take part.
