A traditional carol service, with Bible readings telling us of the Saviour’s birth, and the twinkling light of candles to help stir our hearts as we hear again of the coming of the worlds true light, Jesus. You can’t beat this service – but you can be there early to get a decent seat!
For families with smaller children (but everyone’s welcome!) – a great fun way to spend Christmas Eve afternoon, preparing for the great day. Some favourite Carols (easy ones), and the children help us fill up the stable with the characters from the Christmas events.
Lasts about 45 minutes.
A peaceful but awe-inspiring service, as we remember together the real reason for Jesus’ birth: so that he could die in OUR place. We share bread and wine to proclaim to each other and the world that our living Lord Jesus is the Saviour, who loved us, and died for us.
